In-service leave applications are for eligible employees who are currently employed by your organisation and are requesting long service leave. 
Leave applications can only be submitted via the Leave Applications tab within Online Services.
To commence the process
Log into Online Services Â
Go to the Leave Applications tab Â
Click Create New Applications and select the In-service leave application type Â
Choose the correct employee from the list provided and click Start. If the current employee is not listed you can choose to ‘Manually add employee’. Â
Review and confirm employee contact details. Update any pre-filled contact details if needed. We will use these details to keep employees informed.  Â
Click Confirm Details Â
Enter the following Â
Start and end date for the leave. This must be a minimum of 14 continuous calendar days Â
Number of hours of long service leave to be debited, as agreed between the employer and employee (usually the employee’s ordinary hours of work) Â
Date the employee leave request was submitted to the employer Â
Optional information if you’d like to track the application with your internal systems.Â
Complete the declaration and Submit the application. Â
Information related to the leave application can be viewed within the leave application detail page. Simply click on the case number for the leave application to see details and read case messages.
The employer is required to inform the employee of the outcome of their leave application within 14 days of the initial application.
The Leave Approved Report is available in the Reports section of Online Services. This report contains relevant information that can help you complete your Claim for Reimbursement.
