Employee and Employer Connect sessions return in 2025

During March we held our first Employee and Employer Connect sessions for 2025. These events are a fantastic opportunity for employers and employee representatives from across Australia to connect with peers, share insights, and engage directly with our executives and senior leaders.

During the sessions, we shared key updates on recent developments at Coal LSL, including the outcome of the Hitachi appeal. This was followed by a sneak peek at some exciting changes to our leave application process ahead of them going live at the end of June. Attendees also participated in workshops on two of our most accessed online guidance notes, Scheme Coverage and Accruing and Accessing Leave, helping to create more user-friendly resources for everyone in the Scheme.

The sessions were led by Sharife Rahmani, our Chief Regulatory Officer, who highlighted the importance of their interactive format.

“At Coal LSL we’re committed to continuous improvement. The contributions and insights we receive from attendees will help shape the way we engage with the industry and provide guidance,” he said.
